Mise en place is the kitchen practice of having everything in its place before service begins. That's the whole philosophy here: a dinner party goes well when the quantities are decided, the budget is set, the sequence is timed, and the shopping list is written — before anyone arrives.
This toolkit is the planning method I've refined over years of hosting, turned into a calculator, a spreadsheet, and a short guide. No accounts, no subscriptions, no AI doing the thinking for you — just arithmetic you can check.
